Blue Tres

Sonido Isleño’s exciting new album, Blue Tres (2004), takes Latin Jazz into the future while maintaining roots in traditional Spanish Caribbean music. Drawing from palo, mozambique, changüí, bebop, guaracha, bembé, bolero, and reggae, this long-anticipated follow-up to Tres Is The Place (2001), demonstrates why Sonido Isleño is the most exciting musical group in today’s Latin Jazz scene. Special guests include Pedro Pablo Martínez, Harvie S., Paul Carlon, William “Beaver” Bausch, and Jesús Álvarez.
