Gear
At GödelString we have a bit of a split personality when it comes to gear.
One one hand, we’re obsessed with gear. We spend hours researching the best equipment, planning our upgrades, comparing equipment and lusting after vintage pieces. We study classic recordings, and the techniques and gear that made them.
On the other hand, we realize that the equipment is only there to serve the music. All the gear in the world is useless if the operator does not understand the overall musical and sonic picture. We try to strike a balance between extreme interest in gear and the realities of our trade.
That being said, we have all the necessary tools to create great records. We expend a great deal of effort in making sure our equipment is well-maintained and working properly. Though technical problems are a fact of life in any production environment, we spend the time to make sure your session will run smoothly.
