Rebecca Cherry
Rebecca Cherry has had a varied and exciting beginning to her career. She grew up in a musical family who encouraged her talents, starting the violin at the age of 4. Rebecca nurtured her love of classical, jazz, rock and ethnic music throughout her childhood and teenage years singing, playing several instruments, and now writes and performs her own music. She has gone on to have the beginnings of a major career as a violinist and multifaceted musician, changing the face of the “modern violinist” with her new solo, and group projects. Rebecca started playing with bands during her years at Music Conservatory, recognizing that her love for jazz and rock music could be utilized on the violin without giving up her passion for classical music.
